I look to trees for a sense of calm and wonder.  Symmetry is one of the many ways I deconstruct and reconstruct. Just like trees, we as humans can grow, change and evolve. I find so much beauty in trees, but this work is about much more to me. Each tree piece tells a story and asks me something different whether it is to slow down, look up, or reimagine connection in new ways. Trees give the world life.

this work explores the ideas of foundation and growth, balance, wisdom, beauty, and the incredible ability that trees have to make us all feel connected, more human, and hopeful. we can reconstruct ourselves and find new light. we can look to the past to understand the present. we can use the present to inspire dreams in the future.
